INCONVINIENT TRUTH FOR AL GORE

Mr. Flemming Rose and Mr. Bjorn Lomborg wrote an article on how Al Gore finds the other side of the global warming as fundamentally unacceptable. Al Gore's road to an environmental obsession will leave an average person 30 percent poorer and thus much less able to tackle the problems in a fast-changing world. Al Gore also highlights malaria problems in Nairobi, Kenya, though WHO has published different findings. Today, Nairobi is free in malaria but in the 1920s and 30s, when temperatures have been much lower, the malaria occured constantly. Al Gore mischiefly ignores the facts about Antarctica. His movie presents only pictures of 2% of dramatically warming part of Antarctica but he ignores the fact that 98% percent of Antarctica got cooler over the past 35 years. He adopted a similar approach in the case of shrinking sea ice levels in the Northern Hemisphere although the shrinking of ice mass into the sea in the Southern Hemisphere accelerates as well. It is estimated that 2000 more people in th U.K. will die from global warming but at the same time, Al Gore rambles the fact that 20 000 lives will be saved as colding temperatures will decrease.

In the light of government intervention, global warming could cost us $553 trillion over time. It's a crucial passage to make the right decisions to face the inevitability of global warming. At the same time, the global warming challenge is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial, research and technology sector to device reasonable and cost-benefit solutions to the problem instead of implementing threatening governmental regulation through the launch of poisenous intervention. Global warming is very much like an equilibrium. Some forget to take well-known facts into account and thus consider the problem from wrongly seminated assumptions.

How stupid could you be. Your reasoning is completely flawed. Global warming is a reality, and your two facts do nothing to contradict Gore. Its amazing how you can fin idiots like you in the internet.

I don't say that global warming is not a reality. Far beyond that. What I'm saying is, that Al Gore, is depicting only selective statistics and facts about global warming while, at the same time, he dismantles the other side of the truth. Global warming is a challenge in the future; to tackle it, facts must be respresented on a large basis, not selectively as Al Gore is doing.

Global warming is a reality. Its gonna happen sooner or later, right?

Yes it is a reality. It is already happening and it is very irresponsible from people like Al Gore to show only partial sites of the problem. Another misleading feature that surrounds the debate over global warming is a set of solutions. Few people realize the devastating impact of government intervention. Free markets and technologies are the friends of environmental sustainability and many individuals and self-proclaimed experts often forget that or don't want to confirm this. It becomes quite logical when you see bureaucrats and government officials sitting in the front line and loudly supporting government intervention through which industrial market restructuring would carry a significant burden.

if you can't see the global warming effect around the globe, than you are not inteligent, in fact Al Gore is not fighting strong enough, becouse he's got tired fighting a fight with blind ignorants like you are!

You probably misunderstood my point so I'll repeat it once again: global warming is a problem and a great challange to tackle. I have never denied that. But what I am saying is that talking about global warming from only one perspective, like Al Gore does, is not quite correct. You have to go through numerous studies and research papers to clearly see the problem. It is very easy for politicians to sit in Paris and discuss global warming while government intervention makes the problem of the global warming even worse.

Al Gore has told the story selectively while Flemming Rose and Bjorn Lomborg revealed the other side of global warming which Al Gore finds unacceptable. There are numerous basic circumstances that surround the help cause global warming particulary in Africa and under-developed countries. It's very easy to sit down and blame the U.S. for nearly everything while the reality is very far from that. Today, we have highly sophisticated technology market that helps us find environmental solutions while Al Gore sees the solution to the problem almost only through regulation and intervention. Believe me, this kind of approach will make the problem even worse.

Global warming is a serious problem but before stakeholders will make decisions about the solution, we should see both sides of the global warming first.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

If Nairobi is free from malaria then it is an expected fact since we have made a lot of so called modern medical inventions to cure diseases in the last century. The British established a center for researching tropical diseases in India hundred of years ago. So, what is unexpected and undesireable is the fact that in many parts of the world people are still suffering from maleria even in a larger number due to global climate change even after the huge progress in medical science has been made. I haven't seen the documentary. I was just interested to know about it and that is why searching in the net and found your article.

Who cares if he told a selective story! He selected the regions he wanted to speak about and provided impportant information so the people could open their eyes and act upon this matter. As stated in the documentary this is something that the people need to know is not just about the government doing something about it, its about the people who pollute the air with their daily living demands! Why when someone does something good there is always some moron that has to say something negative! And I hate politics! I don't even live in the USA so I don't know anything about Al Gore, I am not defending him because I follow his political party. This information is something that everyone should know and start educating their youth in order for them to see their children grow and have a healthy life. I sure hope I don't have to tell my grand kids one day, wow I remember when breathing fresh air was free.

HONESTLY I LOATHE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE PUTTING ECONOMY AND POLITICS BEFORE PLANET EARTH. IS LIKE GORE SHOWS IN THE DOCUMENTARY HOW IDIOTIC IS IT TO PUT THE TWO ON A SCALE WHEN WITH OUT PLANET EARTH THERE WOULDN'T BE ANYTHING IDIOT!!!. YOU SAY THAT AL GORE IS TALKING ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING ON ONE ONLY PERSPECTIVE BUT THEN AGAIN I BET YOU WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN SO INTRESTED IN GLOBAL WARMING TO POST YOUR BLOG IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM SHOWING INTEREST ON THE SUBJECT . YOU ALSO ASSUME THAT HE DIDN'T GO THROUGH NUMEROUS RESEARCH TO COME UP WITH CONCLUSIONS ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING, WELL LET ME INFORM YOU THAT THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE MOVIE IT DIDN'T SEEM LIKE HE WAS READING ANYTHING. EVERYTHING HE SAID CAME FROM HIS HEAD AS IF HE HAD BEEN STUDYING GLOBAL WARMING HIS ENTIRE LIFE AND EVERYTHING WAS EXPLAINED WITH ACCURACY AND EVIDENCE. FOR GODS SAKE THE GUY EVEN VISITED THE POLAR ICE CAPS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? STOP THE NONSENSE AND LOOK AT THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION. YOU SHOULD BE PROUD THAT SOMEONE OUT THERE IS TRYING TO OPEN OUR EYES ABOUT A GLOBAL ISSUE. TALKING ABOUT POORER AND RICHER BE SERIOUS. THEORETICALLY SPEAKING MOTHER EARTH'S HEALTH IS AT STAKE. YOUR HEAD IS TO FAR UP YOUR REAR END!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LET YOU SELF SEE THE LIGHT...BECAUSE YOU ARE FULL OF S**T!!!

i am a student of University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.as a student of International Relations(Graduate level),i also study environment and ecology as a course.and my course teacher recommended us to watch this movie.anyway why i m writing here, i came to find information about this movie nd fortunatly found this link.i disagree totally wht Rok says..i would request him to come over here in Bangladesh nd if possible then try to stay here for 2/3years.furthermore if he talks to older generation of our country then he will get a clear view on what actually is happening.as an inhabitant of an underdeveloped country we are the sufferer. or Rok also can go to Maldives to see the effect of sea level rising.so without judging or having practical experiences do not come to a conclusion point.and Mr. Al Gore is trying to open ur eyes. but if you try to close ur eyes forcibly and wish to close it from seeing right things then you are simply a loser...
do you have any idea that many parts of our country will go under water if glaciers melt down...or for sea level rising..how many people will become internal refugee...the consequences on economy will be enormous for country like us.thats what i want to say.so many things are unspoken but i think who are intelligent these are enough to understand.
